While electrification represents the biggest technological development in automotive power trains in decades, there is still significant uncertainty as to when large-scale adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) will occur.

In February, European new passenger car registrations were higher than in the previous month, hitting a total of 834,603. Despite the month to month increase, February 2021 registrations were 20% lower than in February 2020.
