Abstract:
The recent environmental changes made the researchers ideate new alternatives in all walks of life to reduce the effect of global warming and pollution. Transportation is one of the key factors for the day-day increase in ozone layer depletion. The conventional vehicles increase air pollution by the emission of harmful gases, governments and people are now moving towards electrical mobility, which is a green and safe alternative. The drastic demand for electric vehicles inspired the researchers to bring new concepts into the market that are user-friendly and sustainable. This paper compares various motor and battery technologies used by the current automobile Electric Vehicle industry. The article also presents the modelling and simulation of an electric car and recommends that common people to shift from conventional to electric vehicles.
