A Simulation Tool for Energy Management of E-Mobility in Urban Areas
2019
Author(s): Ferrara M, Monechi B, Valenti G, Liberto C, Nigro M, Biazzo I
In this paper the authors describe a simulation tool developed to study city wide scenarios of e-mobility. The tool is intended to support e-mobility stakeholders in finding effective solutions to facilitate a widespread and sustainable EV adoption in urban areas.
PMSM Control for Electric Vehicle Based on Fuzzy PI
2019
Author(s): Chen Q, Kang, S, Zeng L, Xiao Q, Zhou C, Wu M.
The mathematical model of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) in d-q reference frame is established, fuzzy PI speed controller is designed based on fuzzy control theory, and simulation models of PMSM based on fuzzy PI control theory and sliding mode control theory are built in this paper.
Allocation of E-Car Charging: Assessing the Utilization of Charging Infrastructures by Location
2019
Author(s): Baresch M, Moser S
This paper aims to examine the distribution of the allocation of future charges to the various types of charging stations in order to provide a starting point for the evaluation of the need for charging infrastructure, i.e. its number, design and cost-effectiveness.
Vehicle Registration Tax as a Policy Instrument to Help Reduce CO2 Emissions and Fuel Consumption in Turkey
2019
Author(s): Şenzeybek M, Mock P
The registration tax on new passenger cars in Turkey has a strong impact on consumer purchase behavior and vehicle market structure by effectively limiting 96% of the fleet to engines of less than 1.6l displacement.
This paper briefly illustrates e-mobility history and Indian global e-mobility patterns. The paper analyses some of the key challenges that are present today with regard to the adoption of electric vehicles for the different vehicle segments.
Augmentation of Charging Infrastructure for Electric Vehicles Growth in India
2019
Author(s): Goswami R, Tripathi GC
This study aims to appraise the impact of different adoption rates of EVs on the additional power and charging infrastructure requirement. To achieve this goal, it plans to use electric cars (EVs) to the tune of 30% by 2030.
Incentivizing Smart Charging: Modeling Charging Tariffs for Electric Vehicles in German and French Electricity Markets
2018
Author(s): Ensslen A, Ringler P, Dörr L, Jochem P, Zimmermann F, Fichtner W
Over the past few years, registration figures of plug-in electric vehicles have increased rapidly in industrialized countries. This could cause considerable mid- to long-term effects on electricity markets.
Electric Vehicles in India: Financial and Environmental Perspectives
2018
Author(s): Goswami R, Tripathi GC
To save our planet from climate change, reducing automotive pollution worldwide is a cumbersome challenge. One solution to reducing pollution may be the introduction of electric vehicles. In this paper, various factors of total cost of ownership of conventional and electric cars from both financial and environmental perspectives are studied.
DC Charger Simulation Results Compared to Measurements
2018
Author(s): Baraniak J, Starzynski J
The article presents Matlab Simulink simulation model of an electric vehicle charger. The results of the simulations are compared to the results of measurements registered in the actual distribution network supplying the DC charger, showing good agreement.
Adapting Carsharing Vehicle Relocation Strategies for Shared Autonomous Electric Vehicle Services
2018
Author(s): Brendel AB, Nastjuk I, Lichtenberg S, Kolbe LM
New mobility services based on the sharing economy are emerging. New mobility solutions must address the challenges of urban development, requiring smart, safe, dynamic and flexible transport alternatives, in order to be regarded as valid alternatives to the existing common means of transport.
