Abstract:
The Kerala State Electricity Board Limited (KSEBL), in partnership with The International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT), organised a workshop “Driving Kerala’s E-Truck Ecosystem with PM E-DRIVE scheme” on 17th of December 2025. The session explores the supply-side enablers needed to scale electric truck adoption in Kerala spanning OEM readiness, innovative financing models, charging infrastructure, and utility planning with support from the recently launched PM E-DRIVE scheme. The discussion highlights how coordinated action across government, utilities, industry, and financiers can help build a robust ecosystem for clean freight.
