Abstract:
As the energy demand and environmental issues are becoming increasing prominent the future of transportation is belived to be based on electric vehicles EV. Apparently, the research on EV charging systems are very important for the development and popularization of EVs. This thesis describes the design, control and analysis of both contact based and contactless power transfer system suitable for EV charging system applications.
