Abstract:

The Research and development division of the Central Electricity Authority (CEA) under Ministry of Power, Government of India released a list of electric vehicle charging stations/ public charging infrastructure (EVCS/ PCI) that lie under the jurisdiction of discoms/ licensee/ PSUs.

According to the document, as on 30th June 2020, there were a total of 972 charging stations in different states. However, out of the 32 states & UTs, information about 14 states & UTs was not yet received in CEA. In addition to this, PowerGrid Corporation of India Ltd has installed 6 EVCSs.
