Abstract:
With the current rise of electric vehicles, it is possible to use those vehicles for storing surplus energy from renewable energy sources; however, this can be in conflict with providing and ensuring the mobility of the vehicle's user.
The aim of this paper was to create awareness for the ever-increasing convergence of two domains that are commonly considered in separation: energy and mobility. The authors presented domain-specific solutions with an emphasis on the superior objective: the development of an integrated, holistic solution.
