Operational Guidelines for delivery of demand incentive under FAME India Scheme Phase II

Abstract:

The Department of Heavy Industry forwarded the Operational Guidelines for Delivery of Demand Incentive under FAME India Scheme: Phase- Il on 22nd March 2019 for wide circulation among the stakeholders.

The Demand Incentives are important components of the Scheme which directly help in demand generation of electric vehicles (e-vehicles). Vehicles which comply with the FAME India Phase-II eligibility criteria are to be considered under this scheme. The following categories of Vehicles are eligible for Demand Incentives as mentioned in the document:

  1. Buses (Only Electric Buses)(e-Bus)
  2. Four Wheelers (Electric, Plug-in Hybrid and Strong Hybrid) (e-4W)
  3. Three Wheelers (Electric)- e-3 including Registered E-Rickshaws / e-Carts
  4. Two wheelers (Electric) - e-2W
