Abstract:
The Delhi Electric Vehicle (EV) Policy envisages that EVs will contribute to 25% of total vehicle registrations in Delhi by 2024. The sector provides the utmost opportunity to create critical mass that would in turn reduce the upfront cost of EVs. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred to the State Government under subsection (3) of section 67 read section 93 with of the Motor Vehicle Act, 1988 the Transport Dept, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) hereby notifies Delhi Motor Vehicle Aggregator and Delivery Service Provider Scheme, 2023 for licensing and regulation of aggregators providing passenger transport services and delivery service providers providing delivery service of goods and commodities, including last-mile delivery service providers in the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi.
