The Rajasthan government has released the Rajasthan Electric Vehicle Policy, 2021, and has become the latest state to follow Goa, Delhi, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and West Bengal.

Chandigarh, proposed to be a smart city under the Smart Cities Mission of the Ministry of Urban Development, has already taken some steps to adopt electric mobility.

In recent years, the ubiquitous influence of E-mobility, especially electrical vehicles (EVs), has been considered in the electrical power system in which CO2 reduction is the primary concern.
