Abstract:
This report describes Shell’s understanding of the transition to a lower-carbon energy system. It explains how the organization is driving its business strategy in the context of climate-related risks and opportunities. It presents how Shell is resilient to the changes that may take place and how it intends to thrive by supplying the types of energy the customers will need through the transition. It also contains Shell's response to the recommendations of the Financial Stability Board’s Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures.
