Publication Year: 2016
Author(s): Krishnakumar R
Abstract:
This work presents the design of a hybrid mode unmanned aerial vehicle (HUAV) and the selection of right configuration capable of performing vertical takeoff and landing similar a rotorcraft and forward flight like a conventional fixed wing airplane. The main research subject in the area of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) is operating them autonomous. In this course, the most essential part is towards stabilizing the attitude of aerial vehicles. This work presents the design of an enhanced hover control system for the HUAV to make possible it to take out a stable hovering operation, under external wind and aerodynamic disturbances.
