Design Modelling and Analysis of High Quality Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
Publication Year: 2023

Abstract:
Electric Vehicle charging station (EVCS) plays a remarkable part in the rapid development of electric mobility to supplant the internal combustion engines because of the natural contamination and petroleum derivative shortage. An increasing number of charging stations brings more challenges to the distribution grid-like power quality (PQ) issues, power demand, harmonics, voltage instability, etc. Also, the grid disturbances directly affect the charging system and battery life cycle. Moreover, the penetration of electric vehicles (EVs) significantly increases the power demand. To address the aforementioned issues, this research proposes the quality improved EVCS.
