Abstract:
This report introduces city managers to the basics of electric mobility including different types of electric vehicles (EVs) and charging infrastructure. The report highlights status of EV development and discusses initiatives to promote electric mobility by national and city governments and other key stakeholders globally. The document also provides information on the electric mobility landscape in India in detail with a focus on relevant schemes and policies. Further, this document provides a set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to equip cities to meet the transport electrification goals and measure their progress.
