Abstract:
Commercial vehicles, both for passenger traffic and cargo , play the most important role in our national economy. These vehicles include three-wheelers like auto-rikshas, tempos, pick-ups and delivery vans etc . ; four-wheelers like taxis , jeeps, light commercial vehicles, etc. and sixwheelers like trucks, buses and tankers, etc. It is a normally accepted principle that in a planned economy, the infrastructural sector, and more particularly, transport sector plays a very important part in the national economy of a country.
