Abstract:

This book presents the current research on all types of solar cells and photonic devices. It gives a new track approach between photonics and electronics and suggests a possible direct use of the solar energy through photonic devices.  Beyond simply explaining the existing systems or providing a synthesis of the current state of knowledge, the book also offers readers new perspectives for their own research.
