Abstract:

The study indicates the utilization of a solar system in North Africa, expressed as equivalent full load hours, with an order of magnitude of over 2300 hours per year, while in Germany this is less than 1000 hours. Wind turbines in particularly windy regions such as B. Patagonia have more than 4700 hours of full load, compared to a little more than 2000 hours in Germany on land or almost 3400 hours in offshore wind farms.
