Abstract:

As the energy demand and environmental issues are becoming increasingly prominent, the future of transportation is believed to be based on electric vehicles (EV). Apparently, the research on EV charging systems are very imporatant for the development and popularization of EVs. This thesis describes the design, control and analysis of both contact based and contactless power transfer system suitable for EV charging system applications.
