Electric Power Train of L Category Vehicles - Specific Requirements

Abstract:
1.1 This standard specifies safety requirements for electric power train used in L category vehicles defined in IS 14272, equipped with one or more traction motor(s) operated by electric power and not permanently connected to the grid, as well as their high voltage components and systems which are galvanically connected to the high voltage bus of the electric power train.
1.2 It also specifies the safety requirements for rechargeable electrical energy storage system (REESS) of L category vehicles defined in IS 14272, equipped with one or more traction motors operated by electric power and not permanently connected to the grid.
