Abstract:
Improving energy efficiency is an efficient approach to increase the mileage of pure electric vehicles and so improve their endurance. The unique structure of twin motor coupling drive system as a power source can significantly increase energy utilisation. In the new structure, the energy utilisation is improved by eight mode switching. In this paper, CRUISE is used to build the vehicle model of pure electric vehicle, its control strategy is established by Simulink. The model's and control strategy's reliability is tested using the CRUISE and Simulink joint simulation approach. The Multi Island Genetic Algorithm optimises the preset parameters in the control strategy, making the model, parameters, and control strategy more accurate and providing a scheme for the research of enhancing the energy utilisation rate of pure electric vehicles.
