Abstract:
The Driving Green Mobility through Knowledge Sharing Platforms webinar was organised by GIZ and TERI as a part of Transport and Climate Change (TCC) Week 2021 of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) from 21–25 June 2021. The objective of the webinar was to discuss and share valuable experiences and expertise for leveraging the benefits of digital tools and knowledge collaboration to advance sustainable mobility. As green mobility has emerged as the best approach for promoting sustainable transportation, the webinar aimed at bringing together experts to discuss the impact of knowledge sharing and exchange to augment green mobility. The Transport and Climate Change Week is an annual event organised by GIZ on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety. In 2021, it took place as a hybrid conference with a studio in Berlin, decentralized event locations in Asia, Africa, Europe and Latin America and with virtual participants. It was primarily aimed at transport policy makers and experts from our global partner countries and has the motto "Smart and Green Recovery in the Transport Sector".
