Abstract:

The toolkit provides an overview of electro mobility (e-Mobility), including its various forms and components. It highlights the factors driving the adoption of e-mobility in SSA and showcases a comparative analysis of the adoption of e-mobility in SSA alongside global trends. Finally, the toolkit dives into the policies and legislation on e-mobility and, on a country-by-country basis, analyses e-mobility adoption in all 49 SSA countries. It concludes by highlighting some of the challenges to large-scale adoption of e-mobility across SSA and offers recommendations to scale up e-mobility adoption across the region.
