Abstract:
In this article, the authors say that adopting smart charging is necessary to enable a smooth transition to accommodate India’s projected increase in e-mobility and electricity demand. Smart charging is crucial to ensure that EV uptake is not constrained by grid capacity. A number of interventions can be adopted and implemented to enable a smarter, efficient, and sustainable way of scaling up the adoption of EVs in India.
