Author(s): Ragon PL, Minjares R
Abstract:
More than one million zero-emission trucks and buses will be on the roads by 2030, requiring large-scale deployment of public and private charging infrastructure. The ICCT shared its assessment of county-by-county charging needs in 2025 and 2030, along with the projected size of publicly accessible charging depots along the National Freight Highway Network. This work supports utility, state, and federal policymaking that will shape the pace and scale of infrastructure investment to come.
