Abstract:
This insight report highlights the experiences and perspectives of 11 industrial clusters that are a part of the Transitioning Industrial Clusters towards Net Zero initiative. These clusters, despite facing unique geographical, infrastructure, policy and sectoral challenges, have all developed comprehensive strategies to rapidly and equitably decarbonize their operations. The report focuses on four key areas for achieving this transition: partnerships, policy, financing and technology. Each cluster has adopted a balanced set of targets and strategies to engage with communities, companies and government entities, all with the goal of creating a sustainable and economically viable business model for decarbonization.
