This document contains the amendments made by the Central Electricity Authority in Safety Provisions for Electric Vehicle Charging Stations 28th June 2019.

The Central Government made certain rules further to amend the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989 for insertion of the "Requirements for the motor vehicles running on compressed gaseous hydrogen fuel cell" specifying the rules for hydrogen fuel.

The Central Government published this order on 5th June 2020, to insert the norm to have a 1 cm green strip at the top in the third registration plate for vehicles complying with BS-VI emission norms.

A meeting was held on 10th May 2019 to review the progress of action taken on setting up of Public Charging infrastructure (PCI) for electric vehicles by various agencies in Delhi/NCR.

The first meeting of the committee to develop electric vehicle and station standards was held on 4th December 2017 at New Delhi under the chairmanship of Member (Planning), CEA. 

Through this resolution document, exercising its powers conferred under section 3(3) of Electricity Act, 2003, the Central Government notified the revised Tariff Policy on 28th January 2016.

The Central Government, exercising its powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 16, read with section 17 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016), after consulting the Bureau of Indian Standards, made this order called the Automobile Wheel Rim Component (Quality Control) Order, 2020 on 21st September 2020. 

This notification of the Central Government was an amendment to the FAME India [Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of (Hybrid &) Electric Vehicles in India] scheme notification issued vide S.O. 830(E) dated 13" March 2015 and subsequent extensions of the scheme notified vide S.O. 1055(E) dated 30" March 2017 & S.O. No. 3013(E) dated 12" September 2017.
