The roadmap’s primary focus is on light-duty, on-road plug-in electric vehicles (PEVs) that are recharged via a connection to the electrical grid, as well as the supporting charging infrastructure needed to power them.

These pilot projects offer an opportunity for companies to collect and interpret new types of data related to their transportation logistics, engage with their utilities in new ways, learn about electrification operations and charging, and experience these vehicles firsthand.
