2022
Author(s): Minjares R, Buysse C, Kelly S
This webinar provided an overview of ICCT’s views on the proposed rule and public comments. ICCT experts walked through the risks posed by ZEV crediting, the health impacts of NOx emissions, and the importance of accelerating ZEV uptake through more stringent GHG standards.
Global well-to-wheel co2 emissions from cars, vans, trucks, & buses
2022
Author(s): International Council on Clean Transportation
Illustrates the magnitude of WTW CO2 emissions reductions from cars, vans, trucks, & buses that is needed by 2050 to align with the best chances of 2 °C and 1.5 °C of warming.
Illustrates how policy in Europe is spurring better fuel economy performance from new passenger cars than is seen in India.
This webinar presented findings from a study estimating the at-the-pump costs of both green hydrogen and “blue” hydrogen made from natural gas combined with carbon capture and storage in 2030 and 2050.
Thermal Encapsulation of Large Battery Packs for Electric Vehicles Operating in Cold Climate
2022
Author(s): Ramesh Babu A, Minovski B, Sebben S
This work numerically investigates the potential of thermal encapsulation of large battery packs for electric truck applications. Vehicle-level simulations were performed under drive cycle conditions at different operating temperatures to study its influence on the battery performance.

Accelerating Hainan’s Transition to New Energy Vehicles to Hit Its Target for Peak CO2 Emissions by 2030
2022
Author(s): Cui H, Xie Y, Niu T
This paper evaluates the necessity of accelerating Hainan’s transition to NEVs by using ICCT’s Roadmap model to project tank-to-wheel CO2 emissions from Hainan’s on-road transportation sector through 2035 under two different scenarios. The baseline year is 2021 and all passenger vehicles, buses, coaches, and trucks are included.
Deploying Charging Infrastructure to Support an Accelerated Transition to Zero-Emission Vehicles
2022
Author(s): Bernard M R, Kok I, Dallmann T, Ragon P-L
The study shows more than 100 million chargers, including 6.2 million public ones representing 240 GW of public installed power output, will be needed across ZEVTC jurisdictions by 2030. As of mid-2022, only 13% of public chargers and 10% of power output were in place.
EV-Ready India Part 1: Value Chain Analysis of State EV Policies
2019
Author(s): World Economic Forum
This White paper uses a Value Chain Framework to analyse the EV policies in 10 Indian States. The Value Chain framework pays attention to the multisectoral and multistakeholder aspects of EV-policies - separated into three different value chains; the value chain of electric vehicles, the value chain of charging, and the value chain of the surrounding network. It ensures that overall sustainability is considered from cradle to grave.
