Abstract:
The Ministry of Finance circulated this memorandum to All Ministries/Departments of the Government of India, encouraging Ministries/Departments to switch over to electrical mobility from petrol and diesel cars in respect of vehicles taken on lease/hire for official purpose, Keeping in view the policy thrust of the Government that by 2030, 30% of the total vehicle fleet in the country will be electrical for the reason of its being environment-friendly, cost-effective and substitute for fossil fuels.
