Abstract:
The Electric Vehicle (EV) is considered as the alternate solution for solving the issue “Global pollutions due to transportation segment”. The usage of the EV in the commercial segment has been propped up in recent years due to the advancements in technologies on various control systems, power storage devices, and fast charging methods. Nevertheless, the case study by D. Artlur little concludes that the EV is not free from carbon emission. In the current trend, the researchers are integrating the solar technologies with the EV industry to minimise the carbon emission. Although extensive research has been done individually with respect to solar Photovoltaic (PV) panels and thermal collectors, far too little attention has been paid to study the behaviour, architecture and interaction of these technologies in EV industry. The integration of solar technologies in the EV industry is affected due to the static and dynamic environmental properties of the industry.
