Abstract:
The video “Transport Sector at Crossroads – The Indian Story” was made to showcase the Indian transport sector scenario to the world in the Transport and Climate Change (TCC) Week 2021. It is an annual event organized by GIZ on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU). This video was developed under the NDC-TIA project with support from project partners WRI, ICCT and ITF. The Nationally Determined Contribution – Transport Initiative for Asia (NDC-TIA) is a regional initiative funded by the International Climate Initiative (IKI) of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU). It is a joint project of seven organizations and with the engagement of China, India, and Vietnam. The partners are WRI, ICCT, ITF, Agora Verkehrswende, REN21 and SLOCAT.
