Abstract:

This handbook is a comprehensive document which provides an overview of Electric Vehicle (EV) policies, subsidies, schemes, growth of e-rickshaws in cities. It also highlights the benefits, drawbacks and operational challenges and impact of these rickshaws for cities mobility. The report ends with a FAQ section which tries to answer the questions, queries, processes, decisions and approaches that cities can take for deployment of E-rickshaws.
