Abstract:

The E-Mobility Index, now in its tenth year, provides a regular overview of the global automotive industry. Produced by Roland Berger in cooperation with fka GmbH Aachen, the report focuses on the seven leading automotive nations: Germany, France, Italy, the United States, Japan, China and South Korea. We assess their performance with regard to electric vehicles along three key parameters: technology, industry and market. In this latest edition of the Index, we also investigate the impact
of COVID-19 on the electric mobility industry and look at possible future developments in CO2 compliance and European emission standards.
