Abstract:

Central Government in consultation with the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, specified the constant speed fuel consumption standard for heavy-duty commercial vehicles of category M3 and N3 with gross vehicle weight exceeding twelve tonnes in accordance with the Central Motor Vehicle Rules, 1989.

All the said vehicle manufacturers or vehicle importers selling the motor vehicles in India shall comply with the energy consumption standards specified in this notification.
