Publication Year: 2016
Author(s): SLOCAT Partnership
Abstract:
The Paris Agreement on Climate Change adopted in December 2015 provides the transport sector with a clear sense of ambition and direction to a "net zero-emission" economy. The Paris Process on Mobility and Climate (PPMC) has proven to be an excellent channel to deliver on this ambition and to rally the transport sector. The efforts done by PPMC to better understand transport and climate change through a series of analytical products is key in being able to rally state and non-state support for the Transport action roadmap we propose between now and 2050+. PPMC shared this overview of the analytical materials that SLoCaT has prepared in support of transformative action on transport and climate change.
