Abstract:
The CSE has commenced a series of inquiries into multiple facets of battery technology development, beginning with the Battery Management System (BMS). The objective is to comprehend the present condition, opportunities, and prospects for progress in this domain, while pinpointing deficiencies in current regulations and standards that require attention to inform future directions. The battery management system (BMS) is an electronic control circuit incorporated within battery packs. The BMS is essential for monitoring and managing vital functions associated with safety, performance, and the optimization of battery lifespan across diverse charging, discharging, and environmental circumstances. The major objective is to guarantee the battery's safety, reliability, and durability while averting potential damage. The increasing temperatures nationwide have rendered the development of domestically designed and manufactured battery management systems for electric car batteries essential. These systems must exhibit resilience and responsiveness, customized to the specific requirements of battery vehicles concerning cell chemistry, climatic conditions, location, and durability.
