Report of the Committee on Technical Aspects of Charging Infrastructure for Electric Vehciles

Abstract:
A meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Additional Secretary (SP), Ministry of Power regarding Electric Vehicles on 2nd January 2018, wherein it was decided to set up the following two committees to address the issues and draw the roadmap for setting up charging infrastructure:
1. Committee on Technical Aspects
2. Committee on Policy, Planning and Regulatory/Tariff related issues
Out of the above mentioned two committees, the First Committee on Technical Aspects is chaired by Member (Planning), CEA, with concerned stakeholders and this report provides the details of the discussion points of the meeting corresponding to all the Terms of the Reference and the recommendations of the Committee, along with the associated regulations/ protocols/ standards.
