Electric Power Train Vehicles Part 3 Measurement of Net Power and the Maximum 30 Minute Power

This standard (Part 3) applies to the representation of the curve as a function of motor speed and the power at full load indicated by the vehicle/motor manufacturer for motors of electric drive trains and the maximum 30 min power of electric drive trains intended for the propulsion for L, M and N categories of electric power train vehicles.

This Indian Standard (Part 21/Sec 2) which is identical with IEC 61851-21-2: 2018 ‘Electric vehicle conductive charging system — Part 21-2: Electric vehicle requirements for conductive connection to an AC/DC supply- EMC requirements for off-board electric vehicle charging systems’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Electrotechnology in Mobility Sectional Committee and approval of the Electrotechnical Division Council.

Test plans and requirements in this TSS are more specific than requirements of the standard for dc quick charger performance.
