PMPML to scale up EV charging stations as more electric buses join its fleet

In the process of phasing out all diesel-run buses and adding more electric vehicles to its fleet, Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) plans to increase electric vehicle (EV) charging stations to meet the demand. The EV charging station at Wagholi is ready for commissioning and is capable of charging 70 electric buses at a time.

Draft battery swapping policy released by NITI Aayog

It aims to increase interoperability so that EVs of different brands can use publicly available swapping stations. The policy also addresses battery safety and other issues pertaining to the EV industry in the country.
